What life issue has had the largest impact on your life and how?

violence has a huge impact on life. like the Colorado shooting. life is so short. why make it shorter? people just don't think about what they do anymore. they don't care who they hurt, as long as they aren't hurt the same way. but that shooting was a wake up call to everyone. it's made people think for the first time in a long time. maybe it was good to show people that there is a ton of hate in the world. that we all aren't safe. but, for the families that lost their whole world in just one day. they go though everyday knowing that their children had to be shown the hardest way possibly what hate can really be. have you ever felt like, i'm in my warm, safe bed. nothing could possibly happen. well, sadly, it can. all i'm trying to say is, be careful about who you hurt. in the end, it hurts you back.

I think Loss has made the largest impact on my life, not necessarily death, but losing someone close to you, due to a relationship, messed up friendship, distance, or death...i think its something everyone deals with...but not everyone learns from. I have lost a great deal of special people. Fortunatly or unfortunatly, however you look at it, i have only lost one to death. Granted the others i could gain back, but the loss in itself was tremendous, its just like your world is crumbling down and nothing you can do or say seems to be the right thing. so in conclusion i would definatly say loss has been the life issue that has made the largest impact on me.

Life issue? What exactly constitutes as a life issue? I guess it would have to be drug and alcohol abuse. Ever since my brother died (when I was 10 days old) I've been against it all. I will never, ever touch the stuff, and won't be with anyone who does, either. If thay want to ruin their lives, ok,I won't let them ruin mine.

I think my depression has been the largest impact, it affected not only me but the people who care about me too. I tried to kill myself last January and ever since then things went downhill until recentley when I went to a hospital and got the help I needed and now I'm doing good.

Drugs, i guess. It has started a tornado inside me. It started a deep deppression, BUT, something good came out of that. All of my creative juices started flowing out of me, and now I am a actress, singer, dancer, writer, and a photographer. Drugs opened me up to a whole new world...not exactly a good one though. it was my mother's drug habit. destroyed me. but it also built me. and so....i suppose that has had the biggest impact. Either that, OR, love. Love (my father's to be exact) has kept me alive, through the storms and the deep dark nights where all i wanted was death. My fathers love kept me hanging on, and without that LOVE, that incredible magical bond, i dont know where i would be.
