What role, if any, does intuition play in your day-to-day life?

(to the person below, God doesn't believe in you! And I think it's a good question!) Role of intuition? A good topic of conversation, something to think about for hours and hours, dreams, practicing knowing things before your supposed to (tests! heehee!), looking at the phone and then it rings. Stuff like that.

Intuition...What's the definition of that again, like instinct? Hey I got an idea....i'll look it up. Okies here goes: .... The act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition. See Synonyms at reason. Knowledge gained by the use of this faculty; a perceptive insight. A sense of something not evident or deducible; an impression. ... Errr...perceptives and insights. Okies...I guess having established that much I can decide how to word the rest of this entry. I use intuition quite often. Usually a translated dream or a tarot reading will help me clarify any issue I need some guidance on. Intuition has served me well on several times; A day I stayed home from school with worries turned out to be the day a student brought a gun to school (although that may have just been a reaction i had considering that was the day after columbine). The "vibes" i get from people help me decide if I can trust a person or not... Whether you call it intuition, instinct, feelings, or whatever, I think a lot of people use it in day to day life.
