    Question of the Week
    June 29, 2000

What would you characterize as the greatest moment in your life?

Why hasn't any of the polls been changed? Did someone die. Or does this site just really suck?
    Lauren

Seriously, is there something wrong with the webmaster? The person who changes the polls and stuff, did they die? Are they in the hospital? Vacation?
    yesa

you know what else sucks? The fact that this used to be a great site and now it sux b/c whoever is supposed to keep this page up is an idiot who can't handle changing the poll more than once ever month when it's supposed to be weakly. Ok whatever. This is retarted. And about not posting things that should be posted, what's up with that, but you let people post mean things in response to other peoples entries???? What is this? it's stuid. FIX IT!!!!!!
    me

You know what sucks? I posted an entry called "we let it control us", or soemthing similar, and I don't think it got posted. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that entry. it was a positive entry with a positive message. And I really resent that it hasn't gotten posted, yet all these other entries you posted twice, and sometimes you post entries when it's so obvious that they're not even real entries. Yet you'll post them anyway and waste space...and don't you think it's about time you changed the poll and the question? My God, they've been up for what seems like weeks.

The greatest moment of my life was when I finally stoped using diapers and started using the potty. Those 12 years on diapers were really a living hell. All the mocking and the teasing and the lynchings. Ah, But when I started using the potty my life was turned around, now ALL the geeky kids wanted to hang around me, I was popular. Those were the days...

Whatever happend to updating and changing this page. You know changing the question more than once a year??? Jesus. The greatest moment of my life will be when this question and the poll get changed

one time i got drunk and fell down the stairs. that was the greatest moment in my life. the end.

My best moment was when I popped the question to my girlfriend and she said, "Yes, I'll have a #3 with a Sprite." No...I'm just being stupid. I went up to her college to visit her (it's only about 45 minutes away so I do that alot), and it was a couple of days before Valentine's Day, but I just couldn't wait. When we went to the dining commons (it's like a lunch room from HS), I took the ring with me. They ended up having those little candy hearts with the messages on them. I got down on my knee, right there in front of everybody, and asked her to marry me. She said yes. And that was the greatest moment in my life...so far...untill we get married...and have children...

The greastest moment of my life was just a couple of days ago. up till now, for quite a long time, i haven't been able to cry. not at all. often i wanted to get things out. but i couldn't. the greatest moment of my life was when i found the key to crying. there's this song that used to be the song that described my relation with my x-boyfriend. i now realize that of all the boyfriends and crushes i've had in my life, he is the only one i truly loved...because i can still cry for him...

well, i don't feel that way toward actions that happen in my own life. i pretty much only feel that way when my friends have moments... i'd have to say when i felt the best over anything i ever did for anyone was when my friend started having a bad trip on drugs & i helped her manage to come out of it safely... or just when i make someone smile, or someone says they really appreciate something... I get a lot of good moments after shows me & my band play because grrrls come up to us & say they really respected the music & completely understand all the things we sing about... like rape & molesting. i've met so many grrrls who raped by their brothers & fathers & uncles when they were little... there's so many of us out there. i like those kind've moments, the little moments that don't count, when you know you've made someone FEEL something they haven't felt in a long time.... that feels great.

What I would characterize as the greatest moment of my life.... is simply the day I was born. From that single moment.... I have grown and learned and lived and loved. Life is so beautiful. Why can't more people see that? I wish...I,personally....could help them see.

This past year, I'd gone through a massive period of depression. I'd been stressed out all of the time, and cried whenever i was alone. For six months, I was a mess, and then, about a month ago, I went out with some of my friends. At the end of the day, when the sun was setting, I looked out at the ocean, and felt this calming peace rush over me. It was like, okay, I'm going to be all right. And right after, I felt so relieved and happy.

My greatest moment was when i stood up for myself and took charge of my life...my best guy friend had been using me for almost 6 months. and finally i stood up to him and told him how i felt...i told him that i had attempted suicide and how bad he made me feel...and it was then that i realized that not everything was my fault...I wasn't the bad guy in this case which is what i used to feel like. This is when i finally became at peace with myself and realized my inner strength which i had hidden up to this point

The greatest moment was a few weeks ago, when I was standing with my parents and eating a hot dog. I am 18 and have not spent a day with my parents since I was 12. But they took me out to this festival and we bought hot dogs and cokes and for a few minutes, we just sat in the sun and ate our hot dogs, drank our cokes and I was thankful for every moment I've ever had with the two greatest people in the world- the people who gave me life. Even the screams and slammed doors. The past-curfew arguments. The rolled eyes. The exasperation of it all. I love my parents and in that moment, I knew I did and I knew they knew it, too. It doesn' get better than that.

Every morning when i wake up is my best moment. It's a new day and i'm here to enjoy it. "Yesterday's the past, it dosen't count. Tomorow may never come, it dosen't count. Today is here, that's all that counts" ~f.c.adcock~

i would have to say my greatest moment is tie between two things: becoming an actual zombie and my first mass murder. i became a zombie quite peace-ably actually. i was walking around in the park with my girlfriend and there was this guy with one of those stand, you know, like the hotdog stands, and we thought a hotdog would be good since we dont eat hotdogs that much. when we found out he was selling zombie pills we were all excited, because, hey, zombie pills sounds good. it would also be a good name for a band. so i named my band that. anyways,we got some zombie pills and took them because the park got boring and we wanted to eat some cerebellums because we were feeling a little off that day. and the next thing you know we were eating brains left and right. a dog here, a squirrel there, but mostly slow children's brains, or cerebellums rather. the cerebrum just doesnt have that tender of a taste if you know what i mean. so that was a pretty good moment, in my book. then theres the mass murder. it just doesnt get much more fun than that. i mean it's not everyday that you see people running over themselves trying to get away from you. my girlfriend and i were doing the stereotypical zombie thing. with the arms held out and all. zombies arent actually like that, theyre cool people most of the time and dont really act zombie-like, just ordinary, i guess. a fun time was had. then we got them cornered and had a feast. oh my god, i came across some of the most, im guessing, adrenaline filled cerebellums. they are the best. they just make you want to run around really fast. like sugar and mountain dew supposedly does, even im sure its only a hoax by the many retards out there to get attention, only its more like a rush, like sky diving or something. i guess you would have to be there. but all in all it was quite the fun time, indeed. i was stuffed. maybe the park thing was better though, im dont really like being so full it's uncomfortable, you know what i mean? yea, well this is all for now.

I think that the greatest moment in my life was probably my absolute lowest moment: when I slit my wrists. It took almost dieing to realize what life is really about and how important each moment is

I don't have a greatest moment, but I do have the greatest year. My best year would have to be 1999, cuz' that was the year I met my best-friend's, started to get more involved with school, and got more focused on what I want to do with my life. So far this year has been going great, so I know the best is yet to come!
    Alicia

Well, there isn't just one, I don't think. I've had so many great moments. They are all related to my friends and to band. I am so happy when I'm with my friends and when I'm at anything band-related. The greatest moments are the ones that other people would consider petty. I'm happiest at some of the most ordinary moments, it's weird. I could tell you the greatest year of my life, but not the greatest month or week, much less moment.
