Dear Diary,

oh, what can i do for you? have special pet friends.

They are not big like horses.

They are not slow like turtles.

They are not hairy like hamsters.

They do not bark like dogs.

They do not scratch like cats.

They do not eat a lot like pigs.

They jump like grasshoppers.

When they jump together, it's so fantastic!

They sing like birds. when they sing together, it's so beautiful!

Their chorus helps me sleep at night.

Can you guess what they are? they are srickets!
