Beauty of Religion

Dear Diary,

Is it okay, even though I'm supposed to believe in God, to believe in lots of different religions? Is it alright to think that every religion is beautiful, and believe in more than one God? I bought a book last week on all different Gods and Goddesses, and spirits, and such, and I believe in most of the beings in the book. I think everything in this book is beautiful, and I pray to those Gods and Goddesses, as well as God. Can't there be more than one God sharing the heavens? I find comfort in the fact that there's more than one God, so that when I pray, someone is bound to hear me. Is this alright? Does that mean I'm a devil worshiper? I know some people would believe that I am a follower of Satan, when I'm not. Tell me, is it right to believe in the beauty of every religion?

Are you asking rhetorically? Is it okay? Believe whatever you want...there are plenty of opinions that would conflict with the profitability of this mindset you've chosen...and in the end wouldn't put you in an "ok" place...your choices, however are just that...yours.

I believe that God accepts people of all faiths because God is a compassionate being. Personally, I think that there is one God but different cultures have different perceptions of God. Every religion is indeed beautiful if it teaches love, for love is the only way to save our world, our people, and our souls. God will guide you.

Well, for me my religion is christianity. we believe that God sent his son(Jesus) down from heaven to die on a cross for our sins. God loves YOU with overwhelming love! in our bible it states in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in christ Jesus our lord.God forgives!

My beliefs are a lot like you're own. Don't let anyone tell you that what you believe is wrong or treat you badly based on religion. Everyone has the right to their own faith.

If you believe there is more than one way to Heaven ( which I dont believe ) that you are a new ager. But hey whatever floats your boat.

I mean, according to the catholic church, that's not okay. But ##### the catholic church, they molest little boys. Believe in what you believe in...if you HAVE to plug those beliefs into some religious system, just figure out what you believe in and you'll be able to find a religion that will accomodate you.
